The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Augustus Andrews Nana Alwasi has shared his views on the decision of Dr Gideon Boako, spokesperson of Vice President, to contest the Tano North constituency seat.

According to Nana Akwasi, the economic advisor of the vice president is only trying to secure a job after 2024.

“He knows Dr Bawumia, his boss will not win the 2024 election, so why don’t he secure a job in order not to hang in the balance” he retorted.

The NDC chairman told William Evans-Nkum host of M’abato o Akoma fm.

Dr Gideon Prempeh is seeking to unseat Freda Akosua Prempeh, the minister of water and sanitation who is currently, the incumbent mp.

He has officially picked his nomination forms ahead of the January 27 npp parliamentary primaries
