Hearts of Oak have reinstated Vincent Sowah Odotei and Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe as board members.

This follows the earlier dissolution of the board as part of a new direction under the direction of Executive Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV.

The decision to dissolve the board, including the departure of prominent figures like Frank Nelson and Alhaji Akanbi Brimah, was announced by the club on February 27, 2024, in preparation for the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for Thursday, March 28, 2024.

In adherence to the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992), which stipulates a minimum of two directors for a company, Togbe Afede XIV and Delali Anku-Adiamah were appointed as new directors a day after the dissolution.

The club has now announced the full membership of the new board of directors.

The newly constituted board, led by Executive Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV, now includes Vincent Sowah Odotei and Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, alongside Delali Anku Adiamah, Prof Agyemang Badu Akosa, Akwasi Agyeman, Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, Mrs. Ivy Heward-Mills, and Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom.

The club, with its newly appointed leadership, aims to usher in a new era of success, building upon the foundation laid by past achievements.

Furthermore, coach Abubakar Ouattara’s promising start to the second half of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season signifies the club’s determination to reclaim its position both domestically and on the continental stage.

As Hearts of Oak moves forward under the guidance of its reconstituted board, fans eagerly anticipate a return to the club’s former glory days, both at home and internationally.
