Director of Communications for the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), George Ayisi has urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to use all means possible to get the party’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi-Bosiako to appear before the Asanteman Traditional Council.

Mr. Ayisi said the invitation by the Council is a harmless one which the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Chairman Wontumi must not avoid.

He stressed that the party’s delay in addressing the matter will exacerbate the situation and suggested that if possible, the party should produce Chairman Wontumi to the Council on Thursday, January 25.

“I think that we should go and do the needful… It’s a harmless invitation. I think that we should do everything possible we can to get Chairman Wontumi to go and appear before the Council because he is an Asante, put the party aside and every subject of Otumfuo is accountable to him,” he said on TV3’s New Day, Tuesday.
