The new managers of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have announced that some areas will experience power outage on Tuesday, March 12. This is the first notice given by Power Distribution Services Ghana (PDS) after taking over management and operations of the state-owned company at the start of this month.
According to the notice on Monday, an emergency maintenance is what will occasion the outage. The exercise is to improve service delivery, PDS said. The outage will be from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The areas are Cantonments, Labone, South La Estates, UNDP Flats, Alisa Hotel and Hotel Wangara. The others are AU Village, North Osu Estates, NAFTI, Agbogba Town, Bohye, Ashongman Village, Ashongman Pure Water, Madina Zongo and Madina Firestone. The rest are REDCO Flats, Ritz Junction, Adenta Barrier, Frafraha, Ampomah, Ashiyie, Amanfrom, Amrahia, Otinibi, Adoteiman, Danfa, Kweiman, Malejor, Oyibi, Adamrobe and surrounding areas. “PDS regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise.” By Emmanuel Kwame Amoh|3news.com|Ghana Follow @kwame_amoh]]>
