A mini truck has fallen from the Legon interchange in Accra and hit two other vehicles causing heavy damage to the affected vehicles. No casualty was recorded in the Friday evening accident which resulted in a gridlock along the Okponglo-Legon stretch of the Tetteh Quarshie-Madina highway. It is unclear what happened but eyewitnesses said the Kia mini truck registered GX 2038 – 19, which was from the Madina direction towards the Okponglo traffic light area lost control and fell from the top of the road. It then went down into the lane of the vehicles moving towards Madina and hit two vehicles; a Toyota Highlander and a Honder CR. An MTTD officer on duty at the Okponglo traffic light rushed to the scene to assist clear the damaged vehicle for easy flow of traffic.
