Gomoa East DCE dead

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Gomoa East Assembly in the Central Region, Isaac Kingsley Ehun-Armah has died.

He is reported to have died Thursday morning at the Cape Coast Regional Hospital, where he was receiving treatment for an ailment. Sources told tv3network.com, he may have suffered from a stroke.

The news was confirmed by some executives of the NDC in the region.

The DCE had resigned a fortnight ago on health grounds.

He was first nominated as DCE in 2009 by the late President John Evans Atta Mills and was appointed again in 2013 by President John Mahama.

His death brings to two, the number of DCE’s who have died in 2015.

The MCE for the Efutu Municipal Assembly also  in the Central Region died some months ago.
