Fraud alert: We are not recruiting – Immigration Service

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has discredited reports suggesting that it is undertaking a recruitment exercise. The attention of Ghana Immigration Service, a news release on Tuesday, was drawn to the publications “on unauthorized websites and on social media” announcing ongoing recruitment of personnel by the GIS. “The GIS wishes to inform the general public that it has not embarked on any recruitment exercise. Accordingly, the said publications are false and should be disregarded and be treated with contempt,” it stated. The general public has therefore been reminded that the GIS does not embark on recruitment or enlistment exercises through social media platforms, neither does it recruit or enlist personnel through agents or intermediaries. “Such announcements on recruitment and/or enlistment by the GIS will be made in the National Dailies and its official website,” the statement signed by Supt.
