Raphael Kaizer Tetteh, one of the finalists of the maiden edition of the TV3 reality show Top Intern, is a 27-year-old alumnus of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

Raphael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations Management from UPSA.

He had his secondary education at Ashaiman Senior High School, where he read General Arts. He served as the boys’ prefect at the school during his time. As an ardent consumer of TV3’s content, he chanced on the Top Intern audition advertisement on TV3 and decided to give it a shot.

Having succeeded in both the aptitude test and the interview sessions, Raphael made it to the final 12 applicants for the 10-week-long journey, where these contestants engaged in various activities week by week.

Raphael does not joke with quiet time every morning. His philosophy in life is that “time and integrity are the best commodities you have; guard them with your life.” Raphael likes reading, listening to birds chirping, watching the sunrise in the morning, and following the stock market.

Some of the things he does not like include being unproductive, nagging, shifting blame, and long queues. Amongst the things Raphael aspires to achieve is getting a Ph.D., and he looks forward to visiting Namibia National Park.

He also aspires to address the UN General Assembly, build a reputable brand that will stand the test of time, and speak at the TEDx Conference.

Amongst Raphael’s mentors are President Paul Kagame (Rwandan President) and TV and radio presenter Johnnie Hughes for his social change advocacy. Also on the list are YouTuber Wode Maya for changing the African narrative and Nana Tee.

Raphael’s take ahead of the grand finale: “In all the groups I have been part of, my colleagues have nominated me as their leader. That proves my leadership capacity. I have not been at the bottom, nor have I been up for eviction. That is my scorecard.”

We wish him the very best!
