Dec 7 Polls: We shall demand answers to critical questions from all presidential aspirants – Koku

A Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has said that all the presidential aspirants in this year’s general elections will be required to provide answers to critical questions.

He said the aspirants will be subjected to strict scrutiny.

Ghanaians will be going to the polls to elect a president on December 7 this year.

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and former President John Dramani Mahama, flagbearers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the NDC respectively, are the two main contenders in the elections.

In a post on his X platform, Koku Anyidoho who is also a former presidential spokesperson under the Mills administration said “All persons seeking to lead Ghana in December, must be ready to face all possible litmus tests there are within the political stratosphere. None of them shall be treated with kids gloves; well-meaning Ghanaians shall demand answers to critical questions.”

He added “A New Year – and a very crucial year vis-a-vis our forward march as a nation. There shall be NO compromises as far as desiring the building of a Better Ghana is concerned. The critical issues shall be raised and I don’t care whose ox is gored. Ghana will not die.”
