Buem Chiefs honor Paa Kwesi Asare for winning this year’s BBC News Komla Dumor Award

The Chiefs and people of the Buem Traditional Area have held a dubar in honor of their son Paa kwesi Asare for winning this year’s BBC News Komla Dumor Award.

By this achievement, Paa kwesi Asare becomes the first Ghanaian to win the continental award instituted by the BBC to honor the iconic Komla Dumor who passed away 9 years ago.

The well-decorated event which took place on Sunday in Guama was graced by Chiefs from the Buem Traditional Area in Jasikan of the Oti Region, the MP, Kofi Adams, MCE, Elizabeth Kessewah Adjornor and Regional Minister, Joseph Malibu and Nana Ofori Appew VI, Chief of Guama and Benkumhene of Buem Traditional Area.
