Ashanti region: 58% voters say Ghana is heading in wrong direction

According to the Global Info Analytics National Polling report for April 2024, the majority of Ashanti regional voters, representing 58 percent, have maintained that the country is heading in the wrong direction.

It, however, shows that 37 percent maintained that the economy is going in the right direction, compared to five percent who did not have any opinion on the matter.

On a national scale, 65 percent of Ghanaian voters believe the economy is currently heading in the wrong direction.

However, 25 percent believe the country is heading in the right direction, with 10 percent indicating that they have no opinion.

Per the latest findings, the 65 percent represents a six percentage point drop from the 71 percent recorded 12 months ago [April 2023].

Furthermore, the 25 percent recorded for April 2024 signifies an increase of six percentage points from the 19 percent that was recorded in April 2023.

The data shows that the number of voters with no opinion stood at 10 percent for the last 12 months.
