7 feared dead, ambassador administers first aid to survivors at accident scene
Seven people are feared dead and several others seriously injured following a head on collision of two buses between Sagn and Yapuri on the Tamale-Yendi road in the Northern Region. An eyewitness at the scene of the accident which occurred at about 7:40pm Thursday, told editors.3news.com that he saw about seven bodies in a motionless state. The accident involved a Neoplan bus and a Benz bus. The Norwegian Ambassador to Ghana, Mr. Gunnar Holm and his consular who met the accident, had to stop to administer first aid to the victims as attempts to reach the ambulance service proved futile. The ambassador was returning from Ghani Witches Camp as part of his familiarization tour of the Northern Region.
