The Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) has revealed that a special fund is to be dedicated to entrepreneurial activities of students in the country’s tertiary institutions. The package will also see students posted to organisations to expand their entrepreneurship skills during National Service at NEIP’s expense. These were revealed by John Kumah on Friday during an exhibition fair by the Biomedical Science Department of the University of Cape Coast (UCC). The fair was undertaken by second year students of the Department as part of academic work. Items exhibited included herbal products ranging from soaps, detergents, shower gels, drinks, anti-malaria products, among others. Mr Kumah encouraged students to scale their skills for the market. He also announced a partnership between his outfit and UCC which will see the funding of some of the brilliant and innovative products by students. Source: editors.3news.com|Ghana
