NDC to push Akufo-Addo’s gov’t to deliver

Nana Bediatuo [L] in a chat with Akufo-Addo during the 2012 Election Petition The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has served notice it will put the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government on its toes to ensure it delivers on its promises.  The NDC, which will form the minority in Ghana’s seventh parliament under the fourth republic effective January 7, says it will seek the interest of Ghanaians for the betterment of the country. Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central Constituency in the Western Region, George Kofi Arthur, who gave the assurance on Onua FM Thursday said the fact that “we change government does not mean minority should destroy the majority”. He observed Ghanaians voted for change for various reasons, including good drinking water, good roads, economy, for which reason he said the minority will push the government to ensure it meets the expectation of Ghanaians.
