NDC pooh-poohs Akufo-Addo’s one-year performance

NDC says it will bring back hope and development
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has undertaken its own assessment of the one-year performance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after the latter led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took over from the NDC led by John Dramani Mahama exactly a year ago – January 7, 2017. But the NDC gave its verdict on the one-year stay in office, so far, of the current government: “Things are worse.” The social democratic party took to Twitter on Sunday to list some of the practices of government it finds worsening the state of Ghana. It started with the plagiarism of speeches of past US presidents on the day of President Akufo-Addo’s inauguration.

It continued with the dismissal of public sector workers by the government.

And then it reviewed the direction of appointments.

But it assured its followers that “we will bring back hope and development”.
