NDC have resorted to ‘desperate’ schemes – Dr Bawumia

Politicians who resort to politics of divisiveness, ethnicity and sectionalism have lost touch with the problems of Ghana, New Patriotic Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said.

He said the ruling National Democratic Congress has resorted to “desperate schemes” to win the December 7 Elections after it failed to deliver on its promises and mandate despite huge resources available.

Dr. Bawumia made these comments while campaigning in Zangum, a community in his home Constituency of Walewale in the Northern Region.

He said those who involved themselves in acts like the NDC’s have lost the argument on how to make life decent for the ordinary Ghanaian irrespective of where he or she is.

Dr. Bawumia said the NPP have maintained “a clear, consistent message of transformation” and have spelt out a very clear vision of where Ghana ought to be and “the steps to take to get us there in the shortest possible time.”

He therefore called on the people of Walewale and the Northern Region to vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo since, according to him, the former Minister of Justice is the only true leader committed to ensuring that the resources of the nation are used to make life better for all.

He also asked electorates in the Constituency to vote for the party’s parliamentary candidate, Dr. Sagre Bambangi, and all other NPP parliamentary candidates in the Region.
