The president of the Ghana Music Awards USA named MzGee as a solid and respectable brand. According to him, these trademarks makes her the best fit to represent the awards scheme in Ghana.

Dennis Boafo, known in showbiz as Say Da Don, told Johnnie Hughes in an exclusive interview on TV3 New Day morning show on their choice of the entertainment writer and reporter MzGee as the Communication and Country director for the award scheme.

He said, “MzGee; because you and I know that she is a solid brand, credible brand, respectable brand. Somebody who believes and understands our concept. Somebody who is respected in the industry and she is hardworking, affable and she is understanding.”
The president also added that MzGee was the best choice for the position, regardless of their differences and revealed her position upgrade in the Award Scheme.

“Even though sometimes we have our differences but we ironed them out easily. I think she was just the best fit for that particular position, and we upgraded her position. She is now the communication and country director for the Ghana Music Awards, USA.” He said
Ghana music has gained relevance in the United States of America in the past few years owing to the inauguration of the first-ever Ghanaian Award scheme in the united states. Since its existence in 2020, several Ghanaian artists have been recognized for their music which has garnered them a huge following.

The second Adonko Ghana Music Awards USA promises to be exciting with a touch of class, prestige and thrilling performances from Amerado, Mr Drew, Fameye, among other great artists.
“Ghana, you keep talking about other countries projecting their country to the world. I think this is the time for us to also embrace this. It is Ghana Music Awards USA. It is a Ghanaian project, so please just support this project and let’s vote for them,” he said.
