Muntari out of Hearts of Oak clash with Aduana Stars

Sulley Muntari

Sulley Muntari will not play in the Ghana Premier League this weekend after being ruled out of Hearts of Oak’s clash with Aduana Stars in Dormaa.

According to Hearts of Oak, the midfielder is not available for selection because of a knock and not a personal decision as reported earlier on Friday.

As per reports, Muntari ruled himself out because the group is going by transport and not flight.

“The decision to exempt Sulley Ali Muntari from the game against Aduana Stars is based on medical advice after he picked a knock in our previous game and not his personal decision as being speculated,” Hearts stated.

Muntari scored his first goal for the club in midweek when they beat WAFA 2-1 to move up to sixth.

The club also confirmed the unavailability of Daniel Kordie, Ibrahim Salifu and Agyenim Boateng for the game.

Hearts can climb into the top four with a victory on Sunday.
