More communities benefit from Mion MP’s rural electrification project

The Member of Parliament for Mion Constituency, Musah Abdul-Aziz Ayaba, on Sunday, September 18 commissioned the second phase of the rural electrification project for some 30 communities in his constituency.

The first phase was commissioned on Friday, August 12.

Sunday’s commissioning will see communities such as Wagambo 1, Nsoja, Tafaldo, Manyini, Lijoblibu and Wagambo 2 connected to the grid.

The rest of the communities are at various stages of completion.

Mion Constituency has 172 communities and only 35 communities are connected to the national grid.

The first New Patriotic Party MP for the constituency is connecting 30 communities after just two years in office.

The communities connected showed gratitude to the honorable MP and the President for this project.
