Unfortunately, the rod of eviction has fallen on Cutebwoy and TM Musiq after they came last on the seventh night of the Mentor X.
They bid their fans, contestants and judges farewell as they were unable to meet requirements needed to justify their continuous stay in the competition.
Although the two have been evicted from the show, they are optimistic about their career and believe that there are more opportunities to help propel them to the next level to achieve their goals.
Speaking in an interview on the Entertainment Segment of TV3 New Day, Cutebwoy said that the news of eviction struck him hard because he was not expecting it.
“I was not expecting my eviction. Personally, I was prepared and I know I wasn’t going home now. I didn’t have that in mind,” he reiterated.
The smooth- voiced crooner produced and performed a self-composed song for the night titled ‘Sorry’, a song which was supposed to be an expression of solidarity with the victims of the Keta tidal waves.
Speaking on his next move, the promising singer revealed that he will release an EP which he recorded before joining the competition.
“I recorded an EP before participating in the competition so right after I will release them”, he said.
“I have been doing music since age 16 so I am not going to stop music. It is a part of me,” he added.
Meanwhile, TM Musiq revealed that he is making effective plans to release a single for Christmas to entertain fans and also for fans to jam to for the festive season.
He appreciated all who have been supporting him throughout his journey in the competition.
Contestants performed songs in solidarity with the victims of the Keta, Ketu-South and the Anloga tidal waves who got displaced on November 7 this year.
Contestants who are still in the competition are Perferkt, Klass Test, Ely, DSL, Pinksheet, Teley, Konfidential, AJ, Tina Aidoo and Wise B
