The presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has resumed his campaign in the Ashanti Region after a week’s break following the death of the party founder.
John Mahama suspended the campaign November 12 immediately after the death of the former president, Jerry John Rawlings.
He however resumes his campaign Friday, November 20, from where he left off and he is expected to campaign in about 10 constituencies over the next two days.
Earlier before he truncated the tour, he was in the Suame constituency where in interacted with the constituents.
John mahama is seeking a comeback to be president of the republic after he lost the 2016 elections to the NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
