The Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency, Isaac Osei is calling on the police and other security services to act quickly in bringing the killers of murdered colleague to book.
The former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency, in the Eastern Region, Joseph Boakye Danquah, was stabbed to death in cold blood at his residence in Shiashie [East Legon] in Accra.
The perpetrators allegedly used ladder to climb to his bedroom where the heinous crime occurred around 1:00am Tuesday while the wife was as usual sleeping in another room.
Mr. Osei told Onua FM’s Yensempa Tuesday, “it is a sad incident and the police must do all they can to bring the perpetrators to book”.
The Subin MP said “we are mourning because he should have been part of the caucus meeting today in Parliament but look at what has happened to him. It is sad”.
Meanwhile friends, politicians and close relatives have trooped to the late MP’s residence to sympathise with the immediate family.
