To mark this year’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 14, 3 Foundation partnered The Trust Hospital in a remarkable way.

The two organizations joined forces to create a holistic event that addressed the multifaceted needs of women.

A variety of activities, including one-on-one consultations and comprehensive health screening were held for female staff (MG women) of Media General on Friday, May 12.

The objective was to promote women’s health and well-being.

As part of the comprehensive health screening exercise, state-of-the-art medical equipment was set up at the Executive Theatre to conduct various tests.

These included breast examination, blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements. These screenings were crucial in ensuring early detection of any underlying medical conditions to avert any potential health risks.

The exercise also helped to raise awareness among women, about the importance of regular health check-ups and preventive care.

The health screening was followed by one-on-one consultation with doctors from The Trust Hospital, which afforded the MG women an opportunity to discuss their individual health concerns, seek guidance, and receive personalized recommendations.

Whether it was specific ailments, managing stress, or questions related to family health, the consultations empowered MG women with knowledge to take good care of themselves.

The combined expertise of personnel of 3 Foundation and the Trust Hospital, resources, and commitment to women’s health issues played a pivotal role in making the event a resounding success.
