GPL Week 2 Preview; Kotoko travels to Berekum, Hearts makes a return to face Ashgold

Week two games of the 2020-2021 Ghana Premier League season will continue on Saturday through to Tuesday, November, 24, 2020.

Eleven Wonders and Accra Great Olympics recorded their first win of the season against Ebusua Dwarfs and Legon Cities respectively.

Games will continue with interesting fixtures including Medeama Sporting Club’s trip to Dawu to play Dreams FC.

Dreams FC fired blank in week one against Inter Allies despite strengthening their attacking department. They brought in the likes of Agyenim Boateng, Abbel Mannomey and Joseph Esso.

Their clash against Medeama SC is expected to produce goals and Wilfred Dorman will be going all out for the 3 points.

Karela United after spending over 5 months away from the Cosby Awuah Memorial Park, will make a return to the fortress ground this weekend.

Their last game before renovation works started at the venue was against Inter Allies and their first game after the renovation works will be against Allies.

Accra Hearts of Oak are back from isolation after missing the opening week due to Covid-19 related issues. They will host AshantiGold Sporting Club at the Accra Sports Stadium.

AshantiGold Sporting Club are unbeaten in their last three games against the Phobians.

Asante Kotoko will make a trip to Berekum Golden City Park to play high flying Chelsea. The Bibires defeated the Porcupine Warriors in Kumasi in the truncated league season.

Kotoko will be in high hopes despite dropping a point against Eleven Wonders in week one. They were good travelers in the truncated league season – they lost one in their last five away games.
