Season XIV of TV3’s flagship reality show Ghana’s Most Beautiful officially began Sunday night.
The maiden show saw the Central Region representative Afriyie adjudged the best performer with Greater Accra region’s Naa as Most Innovative Performer.
The competitive race for the most beautiful crown began on the night as all 16 contestants gave out their best performances.
The stakes were high but the ladies had no option than to live up to expectation and make their regions proud.
They seized every moment on stage to enlighten viewers about their respective regions.
Aside educating and marketing landmarks and tourist sites in Ghana, Week One’s show was full of fun.
Contestants mounted the stage to engage viewers, exhibiting various characters.
Posing as a hunter, the Ahafo Region’s Abena set the tone for the night’s performances.
Ofosua from the Eastern Region then stepped up on stage.
Representing the Northern Region, Zuzu was interesting to watch, according to judges.
But the pride of the Central Region, Afriyie ruled, winning the hearts of the judges with her act on Fantes.
Afriyie’s delivery, body language, funny looks and showmanship won her the Star Performance Award for the night.
