Ghanaian hiplife artiste Gasmilla has issued a communique declaring the first-ever Ga-themed concert scheduled for October 8 at Alliance Francaise.
Gasmilla, an indigene of the Ga-tribe, is famous for his pendant for singing and rapping in his native dialect, Ga. Odartei Milla Lamptey, the International Fisherman, aims to leverage music to educate the world about the cultural dynamics of the Ga community.
Abele Fest promises a day packed with activities ranging from fashion, food and cultural display. One of the core exercises includes the preparation of Kpokpoi (the spiritual meal of the Ga people signifying the end of hunger).
Gasmilla will also headline the musical concert set to bring the day to a climax. Other musicians slated for the night include Cina Soul, Apaatse, Adani Best, Luta, Long life, Papillon Blood, Kokui Selormey and Marince Omario.
