Presiding Magistrate, Eleanor Barnes has cautioned prosecution to be more serious with the case involving #FixTheCountry convener Oliver Barker Vormawor.

When the case was called at 8.30 on Tuesday, lead prosecutor DSP Sylvester Asare prayed the court for additional time to gather evidence.

But counsel for Oliver Barker Vormawor rebutted that if they the state didn’t have any evidence they should drop the charges.

Selorm Alesu-Dordzi told Eleanor Barnes that the posture of the prosecution showed there was nothing from their side.

Ruling on the case, Eleanor Barnes told the prosecution to “put their house in order.”

Adjourning the hearing to April 26, the Presiding Magistrate said she would not entertain the consistent posture of the prosecution to always ask for additional time to gather evidence on the case.
