The proprietor of Bright Senior High School in Kukurantumi, Bright Amponsah, who allegedly instigated final-year students to assault four officials of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), was picked up by the New Tafo Police to assist investigations.
He was picked up Friday morning together with four of his teachers.
In the presence of their lawyers, the suspects were cautioned on a provisional charge of abetment of crime, to wit assault contrary to Section 20[1] and 84 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (ACT 30).
They are still with the police since they are yet to get people to stand surety for them as at the time of filling this report.
Meanwhile, WAEC has directed candidates of the Bright Senior High School to move to Ofori Panin Senior High School effective Saturday, August 8 to continue with their ongoing WASSCE.
