A flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, has said he embarked on the most issue-based campaign ahead of the flagbearer elections.

Most of the issues he campaigned on centered on his achievements in the agricultural sector, the former Minister of Food and Agriculture said.

He has therefore appealed to delegates to vote for him to represent the party in the next general elections as the presidential candidate.

Addressing a press conference in Accra on Wednesday, November 1, the former Minister of Food and Agriculture stressed “The November 4 flagbearer elections is not a make or break for the party.”
