GOIL has explained that the recent shortage of the super XP RON 95 at some of its fuel stations during the Easter holidays was as a result of operational challenges.

These operational challenges, according to the fuel company, were occasioned by supply disruptions.

GOIL has, therefore, taken steps to solve this.

It says it has already taken delivery of “enough products” to plug the shortages.

According to a press release signed by Public Relations Manager Robert Kyere, two million litres of fuel products have been dispatched to GOIL fuel stations across the country.

“Over two million litres more will be dispatched today,” the press release issued on Wednesday, April 12 said.

It said the company intends to release more stock to affected fuel stations in the next two days “to augment supplies at the stations”.

“GOIL apologizes for the inconveniences caused to our customers.”
