Ex-Methodist Presiding Bishop Rev Asante Antwi dead

Ghana has lost Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Asante Antwi, the former Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church-Ghana. He passed on on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The cause of his death is not yet known. Most Rev Asante Antwi was chair of the Disciplinary Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2015 when the former National Chairman Paul Afoko was suspended. He was inducted into office as the ninth President of the Conference of the Methodist Church of Ghana on August 26 ,1997 at a ceremony at Wesley Chapel, Cape Coast. Source: editors.3news.com|Ghana
