C/R: Man arrested at Police headquarters with pistol, 3 live cartridges

File photo: Locally made pistol[/caption] A 48-year-old farmer who attempted to enter the Central Regional Police headquarters in Cape Coast with a locally-manufactured pistol with three live cartridges has been arrested by the Police. Kwabena Nyarko is said to have concealed the weapon in his pocket and wanted to see the Regional Police Commander. “Suspect was interrogated and he alleged that there is a protracted chieftaincy dispute between Asona and Asine families at Assin Dansame and wanted to see the Regional Commander,” Central Regional Police PRO, Irene Oppong told TV3’s Thomas Cann.
