Reports reaching tv3network.com indicates that one of the judges named in the Anas expose as engaging in a corrupt act to skew justice, has ordered the kidnapping of one of the members of Tiger Eye PI – Anas’ investigative company.

Ishmael Hussein, a member of the Anas team was taken hostage in Tamale by unknown men either in the early hours of Saturday or late Friday night.

Initial reports trickling in have it that the persons were ordered by Justice Yaw Ansu Gyeabour, who is a High Court judge in Tamale.

In the expository documentary by Anas, the judge in question Mr. Ansu Gyeabour allegedly took money to let off a rapist.

His name is among a host of other judges who were implicated in the expose by Anas. Seven (7) of the 12 High Court judges were suspended pending an investigation by a committee yet to be set up by the Chief Justice.

22 lower court judges are also serving a suspension following similar reasons of involving themselves in corrupt acts.

There are initial fears the ‘abduction’ of Ishmael Hussein may jeopardize the investigation into the alleged corruption allegations

The Tamale regional police command are currently investigating the reports looking for the whereabouts of Ishmael Hussein.
