Coronavirus cases pass 10m worldwide
The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has surpassed 10 million worldwide, according to official figures.
The figures show that the total official cases recorded are approximately 10,005,446.
The recoveries are 5,209,048 with 498,996 deaths.
Therefore, the active cases around the world number 4,297,402.
The viral disease was first recorded in December, 2019 in Wuhan in the Hubei Province of China.
