Caf Confederation Cup: Hearts of Oak to face Algerian club

Hearts of Oak will face Algerian club JS Saoura in the Caf Confederation Cup play-offs following the draw on Tuesday.

The Ghanaian champions will host the first leg in Accra on November 28 before travelling to Algeria for the return leg on December 5.

Hearts dropped to Confederation Cup after they were eliminated from Caf Champions League in an embarrassing fashion.

They took a 1-0 lead to the second leg of their play-offs clash with Wydad Casablanca and lost the tie.

The Moroccan champions put six past Hearts of Oak in Casablanca to claim a 6-2 aggregate victory.

The Phobians apologised to their fans for the humiliation and promised to make amends in the Confederation Cup.

Should Hearts of Oak overcome Saoura, they will feature in the group stage of an African club competition for the first time since 2006.
