The entire Chiraa community, particularly teachers of Chiraa Methodist ‘A’ Basic School in the Brong Ahafo Region, was thrown into a state of ecstasy when news of Mercy Aboagyewaa Yeboah gaining admission to Achimota Senior High School greeted them. Her admission to Achimota School makes her the first female from Chiraa to gain admission to the school. Mercy Aboagyewaa Yeboah, who scored aggregate 14 in the 2018 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), got admission to study General Arts. The Headmaster of the Chiraa Methodist ‘A’ Basic School, Stephen Owusu Asamoah, who spoke to Onua FM, said the people of Chiraa are excited and proud of Mercy Aboagyewaa Yeboah. He indicated that he encouraged Mercy to select Achimota School because he was aware she could make the grades to gain admission. Source: editors.3news.com| Ghana
