Atwima Kwanwoma MP fulfils promise

Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency Kofi Amankwa-Manu has begun addressing some basic infrastructure and social amenities needs of some communities and institutions in his constituency.

The move is in fulfilment of promises he made in the lead-up to the parliamentary elections.

“On my thanksgiving and community needs assessment tour after my election, some communities/institutions made an appeal to my office for immediate SPECIFIC SUPPORTS towards some urgent community/institutional initiatives. I have in the course of this month supported some communities within my constituency,” he told editors.3news.com.

Among the support he has initiated is a water project for the Ahenema Kokoben community.

Water is one of the major challenges facing this community. But, it appears the narrative will soon change as major works on the project has started and solely being funded by the current MP.

Adumasa Water Project has also begun, with an initial funding of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis.

In the area of education, a hundred bags of cement was also presented to the Atwima Kwanwoma Senior High Technic School in aid of an ongoing school block.

Similar gesture was extended to the Hemang D/A school as well as the Ampatia D/A school.

Renovation works is expected to start at the Nkoransa D/A School as well as Ampabame No.2 D/A School, funds have already been made available by Kofi Amankwa-Manu, MP for Atwima Kwanwoma.

An amount of GHS5000 was also presented to the Nweneso No.2 in aid of Community Dirbar Center.

To Kofi Amankwa-Manu, he hopes to use his limited resource to change the lives of constituents on whose mandate he has been elected to parliament “I have always seen it a privilege to serve my people. We can together build Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency” he told editors.3news.com.
