The good works of President Akufo-Addo has enticed the people of Asante Akyem North Constituency in the Ashanti Region with a call on Ghanaians to vote massively to retain the president.
Speaking at a heavily attended press conference at Agogo, Constituency Secretary William Aboagye Boateng explained that it is only when President Akufo-Addo is retained that Ghanaians can have more development.
He said the 4 More For Nana is an overwhelming endorsement, saying President Akufo-Addo will never relent in his developmental agenda.
“Let me take this opportunity to remind you all of the good works of Nana Addo.It is only when we vote for him that we can have get more development,” he said.
Mr. Aboagye Boateng enumerated some of the physical infrastructural projects like school buildings, 1D1F, roads, bridges, markets, health facilities, libraries, and the Free Senior High School (FSHS) policy as some of the achievements of the current government.
According to him, the FSHS has alleviated the suffering of most parents whose children would have been drop-outs by now owing to poverty.
“Nana Addo has the people of Ghana at heart hence the introduction and consequent implementation of the Free SHS,” he emphasized.
Mr. Aboagye Boateng noted that the good policies of President Akufo-Addo has resulted in Ghana being the only African country that exports plaintain to its neighbouring countries like Togo, Burkinas Faso, Mali etc.
Touching on the massive development in the Asante Akyem North Constituency, the Constituency Secretary said the Akufo-Addo-led NPP and the MP of the area, Lawyer Appiah-Kubi, have improved the livelihood of 33 communities by connecting them to the national grid.
He was full of praise for the government for rescuing the community from the brutalities of Fulani herdsmen.
“Before NPP assumed office, Fulanis were tormenting our women and destroying our farms,” he stressed.
Mr. Aboagye Boateng revealed that through capacity building, the teeming youth have been supported through scholarships, technical and vocational assistance with special assistance to people with disability.
He said in spite of the numerous projects by the NPP government, it behoves on all Ghanaians to remain resolute and committed without any parochial interest in amassing votes for His Excellency Nana Addo and Hon Lawyer Appiah-Kubi to consolidate the gains chalked in the past four years.
Mr Aboagye Boateng was, however, not happy about the alleged clandestine activities being condoned by the former MP for the Constituency, Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, which he noted could destroy the party.
“We would like to appeal to the party’s top notch executives to bring Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyemang to order now since his activities oppose the party’s vision,” he noted.
