Akufo-Addo to speak on 30th anniversary of referendum approving the 1992 Constitution

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that he will be speaking on the 30th anniversary referendum that approved the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana.

The address is scheduled to take place today Thursday April 28 and will be carried on Ghana Television.

In a tweet, Mr Akufo-Addo said “I will be addressing the nation today on the 30th anniversary of the referendum approving the 1992 Constitution. Watch it live on all my handles (@NAkufoAddo), GTV & all major news networks.”

The 1992 Constitution, which ushered Ghana into the Fourth Republican dispensation, was approved in a referendum on April 28, 1992..
