Akufo-Addo mourns with family of Kyeremanteng Agyarko [Photos]

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was at the Airport Hills residence of deceased Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko to mourn with his family.

The president was at the residence with some government officials including Minister of Energy John-Peter Amewu, who replaced the late MP’s brother Boakye Agyarko at the sector.

Minister of Trades and Industry Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen as well as New Patriotic Party’s National Chairman, Freddie Blay, was also part of the delegation to mourn with the family.

Mr Agyarko was announced dead on Wednesday, November 21 after a protracted illness.

  • MP Kyeremanteng Agyarko dead

He has been MP since 2009, taking over from current Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei Opare.

President Akufo-Addo had to leave early to begin his three-day tour of the Eastern Region.
