The Accra Rehabilitation Centre has received metal frames and walking sticks from the Torchbearers Worldwide Ministry And Women On The Move. The items donated which included nine (9) metal frames (tripod) and thirty eight (38) walking sticks (crutches) are expected to improve condition at the facility and put smiles back on the faces of needy persons being catered for at the facility. Chief executive officer of Women on the Move, Ama Lawson promised that her outfit would donate regularly to the centre to improve the economic well-being and to promote the fundamental human rights of inmates. The General Overseer And Chief Executive Officer of the Torchbearers Worldwide Ministry, Bishop Dr Tony Poku said the donation is part of the church’s social obligation to the poor and needy. Manager for the Accra rehabilitation centre, Mr Stephen Dombo expressed gratitude to the two groups for the donation and their commitment to impact lives.
