3FM 92.7 launches The Power of 3 campaign ahead of Easter

Your Urban Lifestyle Radio, 3FM 92.7, in conjunction with the 3 Foundation, a Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility arm of leading media network, Media General Group has launched another groundbreaking project, The Power of 3 Campaign.

The Power of 3 Campaign which was officially outdoored on the #3FM Drive on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 by Hosts Caleb Giovani, AJ Sarpongs, and Miriam Osei-Agyemang, Programs Head – 3 Group is aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of prison inmates in the across the country.

The campaign which will include donations from listeners to raise funds to provide amenities and provisions to the inmates will culminate in an activation event on Easter Monday.

“I am excited to introduce our new CSR campaign
“Power of 3″. Our main objective with this campaign is to raise funds for the upkeep of inmates and show them that they are not forgotten,” she said.

The collaboration between 3FM and 3 Foundation which continues to serve as a beacon of hope for those in need will also create a unique platform for raising funds for the campaign.

“To achieve this, we have created a unique donation system where all donations must be dominated by the number ‘3’. This means that donors can give amounts such as Gh3, Gh33, GHS30, Gh300, Gh3000, and so on,” she indicated.

The unique approach for raising funds according to the team will make the campaign more engaging and memorable, while also encouraging more people to donate to this worthy cause.

“We look forward to seeing the impact of this campaign on the lives of inmates and hope that it will inspire others to contribute to the betterment of society,” Miriam who has covered several in-mate stories pointed out.

Chief PRO of the Ghana Prisons Service, CSP Vitalis Aryee who joined the conversation with Giovani via phone calls said the project was a laudable idea and encouraged Media General for taking on the initiative ahead of the Easter festivities in April.
