2020 Polls: PNC to elect flagbearer September 19
The People’s National Convention (PNC) have opened nomination for presidential candidates and national executive officers.
The party has called on all interested and qualified members to pick up nominations from Wednesday, August 19 to Tuesday, August 25.
In a statement signed by the National Chairman of the party, Bernard Mornah, the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party has slated its National Congress for Saturday, September 19.
The NEC also set up a Congress Committee to “fashion all modalities for the smooth preparation and conduct of the impending National Congress”.
The statement urged “parent regions of newly-created regions to organize Regional Conferences for the election of executives for the new regions”.
Mr Mornah said the congress will be decentralized and voting will be done from various regions, adding that there will be a departure from the old format of congregating at a central location for the event.
