Krobo Odumase in Ghana’s Eastern Region is known for its rich culture and practices like the Dipo rites.
But today, the town is venturing into an industry that sees glass moulded into unique sizes and shapes.
This is due to the ingenuity of Mr Michael Tettey.
His style is unique in West Africa and involves careful detailing, timing and working under intense temperatures.
With the philosophy of impacting knowledge to the younger generation to expand the glassblowing industry in Ghana, Mr Tettey has about five apprentices he is currently training.
