This is to enable pupils, students and teachers take a rest a day after their participation in the 62nd independence day celebration at the district, regional and national levels.

“Schools resume for full academic work on Friday 8th March 2019,” a statement signed and issued by the GES Director-General Prof Kwesi Opoku Amankwa said.

Meanwhile, the management of GES has congratulated teachers, pupils and students “for their smart turnout” at this year’s independence day parade and their participation in various activities throughout the country to mark the 62 independence day celebration.
