Teshie given facelift under Akufo-Addo – Okoe Boye

Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku Constituency Dr Bernard Okoe Boye has expressed optimism that the people of his constituency will vote form and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) once again in the December 7 polls following the works done so far in that part of the country and the country in general.

Speaking during the 3FM’s constituency debate on Friday, October 9,  Dr Okoe Boye, who is contesting the seat  for the second time running, spoke on his works in the constituency so far.

“Since we came we have done a lot for this constituency. My greatest joy is that projects like the Teshie link road and the market project have all seen enormous facelifts. We continue to work.”

Quizzed about how many votes he hopes to win by and the margin thereof, the Deputy Minister of Health said: “So, all we are doing is working hard, counting on the projects and the programmes and the relationship. You can see the love, the spontaneous reaction is because it is related well with these people.

“The president of the country has also related well through his programmes, social interventions, and we are confident that a good Lord will crystallize all these efforts into a resounding victory.”

He further appreciated the efforts of journalists and media men in projecting the Constituency.

“Let me take this opportunity to thank all those who also made advocacy on my behalf. Johnnie Hughes spoke a lot on our LEKMA route. So let me thank everybody. Let me thank all your other colleagues in the media. Let me thank His Excellency the President and the Roads Minister. This is a project that was capital intensive.

“They’ve shown love. They show commitment…like I told you, the President has actually expressed interest in having green grass, having plants planted in the middle section. That talks to the extent of love, he has for the constituency.”
