Black Stars head coach Charles Akonnor has promised his side will make it two wins out of two in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars are scheduled to play the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Monday in the second group game of the World Cup Qualifiers in Johannesburg.

According to Akonnor, his side being efficient is the most important thing for him and is hopeful they will return home from South Africa with all three points.

“What is important is that we have to be efficient, against Ethiopia, we were not exciting but we were efficient because we won and as it stands now, we are on top.

“We won’t allow the influence of pressure, or any comment to disturb us.

“We are focused, we saw South Africa against Zimbabwe, we have a strategy and we believe that it will work – even if they change their strategy, we will find an antidote to it and leave here with the three points.

Ghana despite not being at their usual best managed to beat Ethiopia in the opening group game at home and currently sit top of Group G with three points.
