The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has told the Black Stars that the entire nation is behind them as they face Morocco in their first game in the ongoing Africa Cup of nations in Cameroon.
The tournament stared on Sunday January 9.
Ahead of the Black Stars game today Monday January 10, Dr Bawumia said “My best wishes to the Black Stars as they commence their campaign in the 33rd edition of the AFCON against Morocco today.
“The nation is behind you to end our 40-year wait for the AFCON trophy. Go Black Stars, Go Ghana.”
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo also wished the Black Stars well.
