Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kurt Okraku has confirmed that Tariq Lamptey and Mohammed Salisu will play for the Black Stars.

Okraku stated on Facebook that the two defenders have decided to play for Ghana and are available for selection.

He also mentioned Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams, who announced his decision to leave Spain for Ghana earlier on Tuesday.

Okraku added that German-born trio Stephan Ambrosius, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer, and Patric Pfeiffer will play for Black Stars.

“Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams, Mohammed Salisu, Stephan Ambrosius, Patrick Pfeffer and Ransford-Yeboah available for national selection,” Okraku wrote.

This is a huge boost for the technical team of the Black Stars ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Black Stars will face Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in the group stage.
