Swiss special prosecutor, Stefan Keller, has opened a criminal case against FIFA president Gianni Infantino. The case will investigate the FIFA boss’ dealings with Swiss attorney general, Michael Laubner. Laubner, who resigned from his position last week, had a concealed meeting with Infantino and the Chief prosecutor of the Upper Valais, Rinaldo Arnold in June, 2017 and no notes were taken during the meeting. The meeting took place while the Swiss attorney general was investigating  corruption allegations associated with FIFA. A statement released by the court says the investigation “concerns abuse of public office, breach of official secrecy, assisting offenders and incitement to these acts”, FIFA has declined to comment on the issue.
